OBG Divas Blog Hop!

Hi all! It's time once again for the DIVA's monthly Oldies but Goodies blog hop! The idea is to use items from your supplies that you have had for at least six months. If you came here from Karen's blog you are on the right track!

I am using a pad of DP I found in my stash and a stamp set I got eons ago from Michaels I believe. The pearls are from Stampin Up! as well as the organza ribbon. I used the scallop punch for the edge. I have a couple of co-workers expecting girls this year and I am getting a jump start on cards for the baby boom coming! :)

I am sorry for not having any updates lately then sporadic ones when I do. I have been busy with the kids activities and a bunch of personal stuff going on with me right now, but I promise not to neglect my beloved blog forever! This past weekend I went to my sister's house for a bit and played in her craft room. I love going where you have completely different things to use! I ended up making 3 cards and I am going to put them into 3 posts this week...

The first one I picked some DP I liked and played with the eboss and cut folder from SU to make some embossed butterfly cutouts to put on the front. I also used some white rub ons. I made it for my Mom for Mother's Day. I can't wait to give it to her!

OBG Diva's Blog Hop

Hi all! Welcome to the monthly OBG hop! If you came from Vickis blog (www.bountifulblessings2u.blogspot.com) you are on the right track! Once you move on you will head off to Melissa at her blog (http://www.inkclinations.blogspot.com/).

The rules were simple:

Use anything on your card that is at least 6 months old. I used a retired SU set watercolor minis. I just love this set! I also used some older primas I had. I used the faux stitching technique on it also.

Second Scrap page

This is the second 6x6 page I have for our scrap club. I do thinkit is a touch plain and will likely add some kind of element to it before our actual club.

This is a 6x6 layout page I am using for my next scrap club. It was obviously inspired byt the card we did for club last month. I just love this set! I am glad to see it in the summer mini and hope it carries over to the next catty.

Faux tile

Hi! Hope today finds you having a great day! Thanks so much for coming by. Today my card is using a variation of the tutorial over at splitcoast stampers. The idea is for a tile look on the base. I got these flowers from Michaels the other day and was inspired! I would love to read any feedback you have for me, thanks for popping in!

Another Card Club project

I again used the card from stamping school. It featured the polished stone technique and my club was thrilled to learn something new! It was so easy, too. I love the simplicity of this and how the little bit of shimmer paint adds a sheen.
