Hoping for spring!

Good Morning!! Hope it is nice where everyone is at. We are expecting +2 today but as of right now it is still -10... sigh... I am sure getting tired of this weather!

I found a color/inspiration on Friday in the Hanna Stamps forum that was posted by Ilina and I really enjoyed making a card for it! I posted it in my gallery this morning also. Bella Challenges and frustration!!!

I wanted to post a couple cards I got done. I have been sick most of the week and a fever of close to 105 most of yesterday and still between 101-103 today. It sucks though because my work is really not the most understanding. I thought I might be able to go in a little this afternoon because I always feel guilty phoning in, but the Dr. nixed that idea this morning. My BF thought I was going to try work and called there. Of course my co-worker answered and he asked if I was there and she said no. He said I must have been told to stay home then because I was still sick and she made it seem to him like I was lying about being sick at all. I just hate that. I also have 5 kids - 4 that I share my sick time with and 15 days through the year sometimes isn't enough. So I am out of paid leave, so as if I would be home sick not getting paid if I had any other choice....

Sorry! Now I am venting...

This card is for the bella color challenge (73). It was to use red as a focal on the card. I forgot to do the distressing part of it but still am happy with it and planning to send it to my cyber friend Laura who had surgery this week...

Hanna had a little lamb...

This is my first Hanna set I bought from Hanna Stamps. I got a few Rileys but no Hannas. I think she is adorable! I just started stamping some of the images and decided to put my little scene onto a card. I think it is OK, but I can't wait to do more with her!!

Wel, I had some things to get done today and cruising SCS I saw GinaK March release challenges were on and I had until 7. I did get 2 done. The one I wanted to post is below. The idea was to use spring colors on your card.

The stamps are from GinaK Designs and the paper and inks and ribbon are from SU! Wish me luck I could win a new GinaK set!!

Addicted to Twilight!

I joined a swap for fans of twilight on split coast stampers. I made these which can be used for purse or bag tags, keychains or jean clips. My DD wears hers on her jeans. They are hard to see because the protector I put on the photo is shiny. It is Edward sitting in the school cafeteria. I think they turned out alright.


The second is the card I made. I found a photo I loved of Edward at the piano and I thought they would make great cards. I wish they turned out better, but they are OK.

My DD and I did some stamping tonight and she finished her ATCs for her Hello Kitty swap. We bought the stickers to finish them off..

Sassy stampers Challenge 7 ~ SSB3C7

I feel horrible! I didn't realize how I neglected my blog!!! Well, I have my post for my blogger challenge due today. It was to make a clear card, no more than 2 stamps and at least 1 embellishment. I hope I am posting in time... I had hockey with DS this morning, a funeral for DDs friend at school who lost his dad and then this evening off to the Annie musical... But I am here to post!
