Bombshell June Blog Hop ~ Boy Toys!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by today! I am involved in another bombshell stamps blog hop. This one is for June!! Here are the details:

Time for being hot...it's summer! So what's the deal with a "Boy Toy" bloghop. Well, it's dedicated to the men in our lives. Doesn't have to be a boyfriend or husband..... maybe a soldier, a father, or just a masculine theme or card. Bombshell stamps have always been great for "manly" things, but now more than ever. Just think about the new digi clothes stamps for the Bombshell Angel. The policeman, fireman, etc... they are GREAT for sending out that perfect card. AND MAN...the new motorcycle stamps !!! Perhaps your project will just use masculine colors...maybe a great Father's Day project.

So this is what I have for you today. I have discovered with only 2 sets of Bombshell stamps I definitely need to invest in a couple more!! I hope I can use that for my July treat to myself but I have some catching up first... I used the lil devil image from my bombshell set. I also added some button brads and funky fiber. I know how men love fuzzy and funky-I think it reminds them of the bedroom.... lol!! Anyways I also found I use an awful lot of red for my men cards. I think I need to break out of my shell and try something different...

So now you get to continue on your hop! If you didn't get here from the start make sure you click on Kas's blog link and start at the beginning!

Happy Hump Day!! And another Bombshell Blog Hop!!

Welcome to another Wednesday! This is a special Wednesday though because it is the Bombshell Stamps monthly blog hop!! The theme this month is "Look Ma I Did It!"
Here are the details:

Call it a Mother's Day theme....or Just fun.
This month, we want to see what you are made of....and what you can make.

You can make any sort of project, a card, a layout, an altered object...whatever...you just need to make a handmade embellishment. It can be a flower, button, etc... You just have to make it.

Pair it with a great Bombshell stamp and get ready for the bloghop.

So my card it a bright and cheerful one of red and white - 2 of my favorite colors to use on cards together! I made the little paper flowers on the bottom of the card and added some red satin ribbon and a copic colored Bombshell to the mix! I also finished it with some mulberry paper whhich I frayed under the image. You can follow along the hop from the links below. Your first stop should be Kas and you can go from there!

I have not posted in forever! I had a few projects done and didn't get a chance to post them as I took the kids away last week for my cousin's wedding. We were gone from Thursday till Sunday and I had been so busy with activities I was just too pooped to post. Sorry!!! Anyways, this is an ATC I made for a technique swap over at the Bombshell Stamps forums. I have been doing a bit over there as I love the stamps. I only have 2 sets but I am hoping to get a new set or 2 next month. We will see what happens - with 5 kids usually something in life comes up... sigh.... Oh well.

As always, thanks for popping by. I just have a quick post as I need to get to bed. Work tomorrow and it is already 11:30 PM here. 6:30 comes way too soon!! PS... I would love to hear what you think!

March Blog Hop 3/31/10 - Metallica-rt

Welcome to this stop on the March Bombshell Stamps blog hop! If you came here from Sy's blog you are on the right track! If not you can start at the beginning of the blog hop over on Kas's blog.

The them for March's Bloghop is METAL - Try using metals in your project : Make something on metal, metal accents, metal embellishments, or even "Metal" music...Your choice just tell us how it fits with the theme. I would love to see as many people participate as possible.

For my project I used metallic embossing powder for the sentiment, metallic cording for the accent and metal brads. I added some clothes to my bombshell. This is new to me! I have seen it done and didn't know how to go about it. I read the tutorial over at the Bombshell forum and decided to go for it. I am actually going to give this card to my friend for her wedding shower. I am hoping she is too busy with wedding plans to be blog hopping! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Enjoy BoHoRose's project on your next stop! Happy hump day and I would love to know what you think!

Bombshell ATC swap

This is an ATC I made for a Bombshell Stamps ATCswap I joined over on the Bombshell Stamps forum. I used one of the smaller images from my set and made the flowers with my SU! flower punch. I sponged the edges of the flowers with the matching ink and distressed the petals just a touch. I also added a strip of tafetta ribbon around the edge. I colored with my matching In Color markers from SU! to match my SU! papers I used.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and I would love to know what you think!

This is a new style of card I tried for last weeks Technique Lovers challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. It is called a side step card, where there is a bit of a scene displayed along the side of the card. I was a bit intimidated at first to try it, but then I was pretty happy with how it tuned out. I used my bombshell stamps and colored with copics.

So much fun!!

I got my Splitcoast Stampers weekly inkling today and the tutorial showcased was easle cards. I must admit that I really found these very intimidating and really never tried one. Well I decided in my pursuit of improving my stamping this year I was going to attempt new things. I am really glad I did!! I am very happy with my outcome and the instructions were fabulous! I used some DP I got from one of my SS's and the same bombshell stamp I used the other day. I used my scallop border and punched it with my tiny hole punch. I mounted that piece on some green galore and just tried to jazz up the whole thing with a little distressing, a little ribbon, a big prima (lol) and some choclate ribbon with green polka dots. I think it is one of my new favorites!! And I discovered that these are amazingly easy and the result is stunning! As you can see I again piced the bathing suit to match the background DP and am really happy with the result.

Also I am really pleased with myself for my much more regular posting. I hope you are enjoying my creations!

Thanks for stopping by. As always, please let me know what you think!

Bombshell Baby!!

I love my bombshell stamps! I only have 2 sets so far, but I am definitely ordering more! I have started experimenting with paper piecing the girls to soften them a bit. Although they are still sexy, they seem a little bit more demure... This one I made with some of my SY+U! design paper. I also used some blue ribbon with a stripe I got from an SS. My new theme this year is to use up my stashes so I can get more after I have some need for something... We will see how long it actually lasts. :) So I stamped her with memento black and colored her with my copics. I think I am getting more of the hang of using copics, as they seem to be turning out a bit better.

Well, I am really glad you stopped in! Thanks so much for visiting me. As always I would love to know what you think!

Birthday Babe

OK, today I am posting a card I made for my daddy for his Birthday. It isn't actually until the beginning of December but I had gotten some paper from my LSS and had to do something with it. I also am loving those lollipop flowers!! I have never found them before that I have noticed but the are so neat!! So this is my card. I used my set from Bombshell stamps. I adore these stamps! I only have a couple sets but just think they are so sexy! :) My dad loves his horses and isn't too old yet to appreciate the lady either! hehe.......

As always thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think!!
