I am in love with da bomb!!!

OK, I found this site a few weeks back called Bombshell Stamps. Please check out their site if you like the images! I absolutely LOVE them! Anyways, I ordered my first set the day I found the site and it came in the mail today so I have been playing!!!

This was the first card I made with it. I also used my swiss dots CB background I got from my awesome SCS sis onelightningchic. (I love her! She was such an awesome SS!) I think I will send this to her as a thanks for her spoiling me. She even made me knitted dishcloths after I asked her for them once I knew she was a multi talented crafter, unlike me... Plus she wove me 2 tea towels and knitted me cashmere socks I wear a LOT for my birthday! She is amazing!

The second project is is an adorable clipboard with a 2009 mini calandar that if I decide I can part with I may send to my new SS although I don't yet know who she is...

So, if you want to take a second and let me know what you think that would be awesome! As always, thanks for popping by!!

Well, I got done a project I made for my 2 friends at work. I think they turned out pretty cute. I used a new punch I got for Christmas by Martha Stewart that I LOVE. They are simple, but I felt I had not stamped in so long it seemed I wanted to ease into it... :) The stamp says You are never too old to do goofy stuff... What do you think???

Double your fun

Stamping Bella is celebrating its 2nd Bellaversary and Friday night we had a bash in the stamping bella forums on SCS. The theme challenge was to make a card using the theme of 2s... I used 2 All Punked Up images, 2 grosgrain ribbons, 2 kinds of DP and 2 sets of 2 brads. I think it turned out pretty cute! I also used black SU paper for the base and my scallop circle punch. So, what do you think??

Babies and Christmas

Happy Tuesday!

I had such a great weekend! I got to see the birth of my brand new niece and god daughter Kaylea Emma who was born on Friday, Nov 21. Mom and babe are doing great so I was inspired to create a baby card to welcome her! I used a new baby set I got from my SCS secret sister a couple of months ago. It is so cute and I was excited to have the chance to use it! I used Pink Pirouette and bashful blue. I also added some bashful blue taffeta and a CB background with a baby theme I got from wish RAK.

Also, I wanted to use my Elzybelles stamp with the holiday window and the snow saying. I am going to send it to MY secret sister in her December reveal package. I hope Melanie hosts a round 3!! This one uses tempting turquoise, red riding hood and WW. I also used my new CB folder snowflakes that I got today from my same Secret Sis. She is so awesome!!! And the final touch was the turquoise gg and some liquid applique for the snow effect. I hope she likes it!

So, as always, thanks for popping in and I will post again in the next couple days. Please let me know what you think! See you soon!

Pia Pudding top holiday fun.

Well, I had posted my blog challenge, but was ahead of myself. I removed the post for now and figured I would post my sketch challenge from Monday from the stampong bella forums on SCS. I played around a bit and decided I was happy with it. I received the image from a fellow SCS stamper. Thanks so much for Pia!!! She is on my wish list now for sure! What do you think???

Tile coaster how to

OK, I just thought I would let you all know the coaster is VERY easy. I brayered a blue and a green onto the tile. I stamped the tree with black stazon and the deer with brown stazon. So easy! You really have to try it!

Tumbled Marble tile coasters

Good Monday Morning! I have not had a chance to do my blog challenge yet, but I may have a chance tonight after our club meeting. I hope to anyways!

I do want to post my coaster sample for my upcoming tile coaster class. I am also going to offer a Christmas set option also. This one still needs to be protected and have the felt feet put on, but let me know what you think!

Hi everyone!! Just wanted to post my challenge for the bella sketch challenge from Monday. It is BSC54 and you can find it here. I am pretty excited about it, I think it turned out pretty well, some of my better work. I really want to make an effort to expand a little more on my creativity if it is possible (which I think it is...;)).

Thanks for popping in and let me know what you think!!!

Christmas is coming... Oh......!!

I can't believe it that Christmas is less than 2 months away!! I had my second Christmas stamp a stack last night and it went not bad. I had 3 people come, but they are all excited about another class, so I am going to do a third for this season (a first for me!) the beginning of December...

Anyways, I did 3 cards again last night and they all seemed to be a hit!

I used SU card stock for all the cards. The snowman card was cased from the new cardmaker magazine cover, the house off of SCS gallery and the last one I just did on my own. Anyways, thanks for popping in and enjoy my cards! I have been feeling awful today so I don't know what I will accomplish tonight. I think I will just take it easy and watch my Senators!

Second I worked on the bella color challenge... It was any blue, yellow and a light green accent... I used buckaroo blue, so saffron and some SU DP.

And last is my Stooby Toosday challenge which was red white and blue... I love tyler the jock!

Well, I am off to hockey shortly and then the Rider playoff game, so I hope to stamp again this evening! See you all later and thanks for stopping by!

OK, as promised! Enjoy my holiday shopping books!! :) I think my family will think they are adorable! I do! The images are from elzybelles.

As always, thanks for popping in!

OK, I don't have a photo to share YET... but I do have a project I want to show you as soon as I get home and can snap a pic to post. I got a Bind It All from my parents last night for my birthday (WOOHOO!! Thanks Mom & Dad!!!) and immediately made coaster covers for 3 little books I made. I finished 2 of them at work because I needed the sheets for inside the books but I just love how they turned out! I will post the photo of the 3 completed ones as soon as I get home from work! I promise! I think you will like them as much as I do! Have a great day!

New Stamping Bella challenge and a 3D project

This is my card I made for the newest challenges in the stamping bella member forum on SCS. I cased a great card by Giffy, who was the first one honored in the challenges. Here is what I came up with...
I used Fifi from stamping bella and masked out the pooch and made a cute little shopping bag. I thin k I may yet add a tiny tuft of tissue in the bag also. The CS is pink pirouette, ski slope DP and blue bayou on the layers. I used some black twine for the handle..

I also created this little bird house I got instructions on from Nichole Heady found here... I put it together quickly but want to make a few more to put on some of my holiday packages...

So, what do you think??

Make new friends but keep the old...

I joined a new blogger group today and am pretty excited! In honor of the occasion I made a card for friends in honor of all the new blogging friends I am going to make and also all the new friends I have made already!

I used best friends forevah from Stamping Bella for my main image. The sentiment is from a current SU! hostess set level 1. I use blue bayou (which I am so disappointed it retired!!!) and SU! dp. I also used some rhinestone stick ons and colored with my SU! markers.

So, here is to new friendships, new ideas and new inspirations!! And as always, welcome to my blog and please feel free to leave a comment!!

I am making up for my neglect! :) This is my third challenge for the Land Cruisers party in the GinaK forums. It was my first attempt at a gel card, and although I am happy with it, I think now that I know the technique I can do much better... I also incorporated the color challenge from this week - CC189 which was chocolate chip, pink and kiwi kiss....

What do you think???

Thursday, October 23, 2008

OK, this is a card I am very excited about! I have had a bit of a post lag this week but I am getting back on track. I did two of the GinaK challenges on the Split Coast Stampers member forum for the land cruisers get together and want to finish the third tomorrow. I already have a great idea for it... :) So, both sets are GinaK designs sets and I am just getting into playing with them. So let me know what you think!

The first challenge was to use chipboard on your card somewhere. I used 3 hearts covered in DP.

The second was a 1, 2, 3 challenge. You were allowed to use 1 piece of ribbon, 2 layers and 3 embellishments the same. I actually am very happy with this card! I thought it would suck as I am not good without layering, but I am impressed.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

OK, here she is! This is my project for the stamping bella forum Halloween bash challenge... I always try and do the challenges in the hopes of winning a prize, but I think the only way that will happen is if it is a random draw!! lol Not that I don't like m y stuff and I do find I occasionally come up with stellar work, but there are so many talented stampers out there! You guys rock!

Anyways, I used the template for the box found here posted by Mel (stampztoomuch). Thanks so much for these!! So on that note - Have a great night! I will posyt my second bella challenge tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by!

Win a handbag!!

Check out this link to win a handbag tomorrow!!!

http://www.handbagplanet.com/

I have a friend going through this horrible illness right now, so I am glad that the challenges for color on SCS are shades of pink for the month! I just made her a little book from the instructions found here. I neglected to take pictures of it, and I just was so please with it, but I dropped it off to her today. She was on her way to another treatment.

Anyways, I made these 2 cards for the color challenges on SCS. One was also for the stamping bella forums posted weekly by Jamie. You can't see the wish for peace card with the pink pirouette too well, but it is better IRL. So have a great week! I will be posting again in the next couple of days. Take care!

Who ordered some blog candy??

Well, I got my DD to put all the names in into a draw for the blog candy and the lucky winner is Tricia!! I will get that out to you delivered with this adorable pizza box I made!!

This is my first attempt at these boxes and I used a retired set - Bushytailed Blessings - to give it a real harvest feel for Thanksgiving. It was the 3D challenge this week on SCS in the demo only forums...

Have a safe weekend to all my Canadian friends celebrating!! And my friends not in Canada - enjoy the rest of the weekend!
