Bombshell Stamps Stars and Stripes Blog Hop!

Hi everyone!  I am excited to be playing again in the Bombshell stamps monthly blog hop.  This month the theme is stars and stripes as explained in the rules...

This month's Hump Day Hop theme is Stars & Stripes Let's play with a couple of fun                patterns! Make it patriotic, or not...but be sure to use both stars AND stripes!

If you came here from Alaine's blog you are still on the right track!  If not, you can start the whole hop here.

My card today is geared for my uncle who's birthday is coming up next week.  I always struggle with masculine cards!  So anyway, I incorporated the gold striped paper for the stripes and a fabulous gold shooting star behind the bike of freedom.  :)

Keep on hopping over to Kelli's blog to finish up the hop!  The entire hop list is below in case you wanted to go back or missed something along the way.

Thanks so much for popping by today!  Something a little bit not as flashy as some of my attempts, but I think it works.  :)  Please feel free to leave me feedback as I read it all and appreciate it all as well.  See you soon!

Red Carpet Ready, Baby!!!

Well thanks so much for joining me today for another Bombshell Stamps blog hop!!!  The rules were pretty easy this time...

This month, the theme is Red Carpet Ready. Let's glam up those Bombshells as if they were getting ready to strut their stuff on the Red Carpet!

I took my bombshell and added a sexy pink and brown designed dress, which I adapted from the dress up downloads.  I added a few rhinestones at the waist and a pink flower in her hair to match it. I sponged the edges of the card base and added a couple strips coordinating dp and some old fashioned lace.

If you came here from Alison's blog, you are on your way!!   After you are done here you will carry on to Kim's blog.  The full list for the hop is below.

Get Well Soon!

This is a card I made last week for a co-worker who will be going in for surgery later this month.  I brought it in for our staff to all send well wishes.  She is a fan of pink and flowers and I took special care making a card I hope she really loves!  I had some mulberry (?) paper that had some leaves in it and I thought it made the perfect base.  I am so happy with the way this card turned out!

As always, thanks so much for stopping in this week!  I am hoping to post my card for DD's grad later this week, it is still a work in progress.  I love your feedback, so please feel free to let me  know what you think!

Happy Day Stamping! :)

Good morning!  I have been crazy busy working most days and running the kids to their activities and I haven't had a decent stamping area in so long.  So I neglected my supplies for entirely far too long!  My daughter signed up to be a Stampin Up! demo, so I got the new paper pumkin from her in order to kick start my motivation.  Cleaning and rearranging things in the basement also helped me a bit.  So I ended up signing up for a couple of swaps.

The first one I have due is for bookmarks.  I was going to do the regular long paper kind, but felt like I wanted to get a bit more creative than that, so I decided to make some corner bookmarks.  I really have nothing new, it is all old stock and papers, etc, so I can't even help with what supplies I used.  I have made a note to self that I NEED to use the supplies I have and just replenish the essentials I run out of for quite some time.  I have several UNOPENED packages of dp to use up also...  Who does that???

Well, now I got those done and moved on to a caffienated swap due in July.  Hope you enjoy my bookmarks that I am sharing today!  I forgot how much I love to stamp!

As always, thanks for popping by.  Sorry I have been MIA for so so long!  Take care and please feel free to leave me feedback

Bombshell Blog HoP!

I am late getting this posted today!  Sorry for the delay!
This month's theme is "A Cut Above." Let's play with die cuts this month! Break out the Sizzix, Cricuit, and Silhouette machines and pair them up with your beautiful Bombshells!   My card is a birthday card I made for my boyfriend.  I don't have any sizzex or anything but I used some punches and my cutter to create this multilevel card.  If you came here from Kim's blog, you are on the right track!  Once you are done, head on over to Marnie's blog, as she is next up on the hop!  Thanks for popping by today!  I have not done much creatively in quite some time, so this is good for me.  :)

The complete list for the hop is below.  I hope you get a chance to check everyone out!

Thanks so much for popping by today and please feel free to leave feedback!

A little Nosalgia...

Well, I was cleaning in my basement, painting the concrete floor so it doesn't seem like such a dungeon and was inspired by some of my paper I found to make a card.  I used this image from Stampin' Up! from a set I just mounted for the occasion.  I also used some Elegant Eggplant paper as the main card base.  I love it because the colors make it appropriate for either a masculine or feminine card.

I see I suck at taking photos.  I really need a decent camera to take pictures.  Sorry for the cutting off of one side.

As always thanks so much for coming by today and as always I would love if you want to leave feedback!

What if...

Decided I was going to randomly close my eyes and pick a set off of the shelf.  Turned out to be Smarty Pants by Stampin Up!.  I wanted to use a coordinating stamp that appeared to have a little attitude to it.  I think Cosmobella from Stamping Bella worked perfectly!  A cuttlebug background, some celery ribbon, primas and I have a completed project!

As always, thanks so much for popping in!  I have some renos to do this weekend so I likely won't get another post on here for a few days.  Enjoy your weekend!
