Well, as this posts I am in Edmonton celebrating my baby girl's 18th Birthday! I can't believe how fast time flies! As for my card, it is this week's sketch challenge over on splitcoast stampers. It is SC266. I colored my bella with copics and I added some taffeta ribbon.I really am not happy with the way my scanner scans my pictures but I wanted to get a post in place before I left for Edmonton. I will be back Monday with some more posts! Have a great weekend and see you soon!

This is a card I made with a sketch challenge posted a couple of weeks ago on splitcoast stampers. I got a new set from SU! from the occasions mini. I believe it is called Holy Family or something close to that. I used some DP from SU! and also the cardstock and inks are also. I sponged around the edges of the card base with close to cocoa. I tore and distressed the edges of the layers and then stamped my image in chocolate chip on the close to cocoa paper. I added stickles to the halo around baby Jesus for an added effect and also included a prima flower to finish it off.I like how it turned out and think I will make these also for my Feb Christmas card challenge. One down, four or 5 to go! That way I will also make a few other ones.

Thanks for coming by and as always I love hearing what you think!

This is an ATC I made for a Bombshell Stamps ATCswap I joined over on the Bombshell Stamps forum. I used one of the smaller images from my set and made the flowers with my SU! flower punch. I sponged the edges of the flowers with the matching ink and distressed the petals just a touch. I also added a strip of tafetta ribbon around the edge. I colored with my matching In Color markers from SU! to match my SU! papers I used.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and I would love to know what you think!

This is a new style of card I tried for last weeks Technique Lovers challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. It is called a side step card, where there is a bit of a scene displayed along the side of the card. I was a bit intimidated at first to try it, but then I was pretty happy with how it tuned out. I used my bombshell stamps and colored with copics.

Beautiful bella kisses

This is a card I made for the stamping bella sketch challenge over in the bella forums on Splitcoast Stampers. I used an image of Mwah bella I got from the wish RAK forums a while ago. I think she is very sassy!! I used some of my new DP for her and colored her in with my copic markers. I addded a touch of taffeta ribbon and a few chocolate sparkly brads to complete the look. My scanner just doesn't photograph near as well as my camera, however thanks to my DD, the camera is AWOL right now. The pinks look pretty white and I am a bit disappointed in the quality of it. That said, I did really have fun making this card and I love the new release from Stamping Bella. I will have to put in another order next month - hopefully!

Anyways, thanks for coming by and I would love to know what you think!

Happy Birthday Gorjuss.....

This is a card I made playing with my gorjuss girl. I wanted something with brighter colors and decided this would be perfect! I added the scallopped edge on the brown after layering with an orange strip. The flowers I added a touch of red stickles to the centers to just add a little to it. Madi wanted to give one to her friend and I made a few extras to send out to my BRAK ladies this month. I hope they think she is as sweet as I do!

So a quick post as I am hoping to do a bit more stamping tonight. Thanks so much for popping by and as always your feedback is much appreciated!

Hey there neighbour - heard you were getting older!

Happy Birthday neighbour!! I made this card for my neighbour who had his 50th this past weekend. It started as a thank you card then I saw his birthday posted in the paper so I had to change it to a birthday card of course!! I loved the paper and had to get it when I was at my LSS. I thought it would work perfect with my classic cards set and I think it does!

I made 2 of these cards so I could add one to my brother's birthday book which is almost done.

As always, thanks so much for dropping by and I would love to know what you think!
