A quickie...
Sorry! I have been busy getting organized this week. I haven't really had much chance to stamp, but I hope I can make something new tonight. I am posting these though as I have not yet put them on my blog. These are necklaces I made for an Eclipse Edition swap on Split coast stampers. I took 2 spots and sent these along with the notebooks I posted before. I hope whoever gets them likes them!!

Show & Tell
This is the card I made for the Stamping Bella's Show and Tell challenge #1. The challenge was to create a bella card to represent you. I chose Hockeymomabella for a few reasons... I love playing floor hockey and play in a league every winter. I also have all the kids in sports - hockey, soccer , dance, and baseball depending on the season, so I am always out enjoying watching them. I thought this represented me well all around!
As a kicker I decided to send this off to Martha, my bella sis for a few months as it was a great way to introduce myself to her... I think she will like it!
Anyways, back to work for me! Thanks for popping by and as always, let me know what you think!

How can you not LOVE a secret sister????
I was in a 6 month Secret Sister swap on Split Coast Stampers since January and I loved everything I got! My secret sis was Cabio and she spoiled me rotten... :) I loved it! I sat down this weekend and used some of the stuff she sent in her reveal package to create a thank you card I am sending her... She sent these build a flower cut outs and I also got this cute cute Hula Anya! I got this creative idea in my head as soon as I saw them, but I don't think that it turned out quite how I envisioned, but I think it is pretty cute. I am going to try some more and see if I can get a better result later on.
Anyways, a quick Thank You post to Cabio and I want you to know I do use your gifts!!! I love it when I can tell that a sis has taken the time to get to know me and what I like. It feels less like just a chore.
Thanks for popping by and let me know what you think!

Desining D.I.V.A.S SS Challenge 1
This is my very first card for Design DIVAS SS. The challenge was to make a friend card with a flower theme... as
much flower as you could get! I used some flower DP from Stampin Up! and stamped with my Embrace Life set. I also just ordered the embroidered flowers from SU! and used 3 of them also, I was pretty happy with how it turned out! I am catching up on my challenges so I will posting a few more this week.
Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think!!! :)
Enjoy the rest of the weekend...

Teacher gifts and that time of year...
I can't believe how fast the time goes!! DS and I went on his year end field trip for school today. We had a ball at the gymastics place!! So then I got to thinking... Oh oh... his last day is Wednesday and he has a teacher and 3 helpers and I have nada for year end presents ready!!!
Well, this afternoon I took to making up a few of these sets for the 3 female teachers. The pack includes a set of 4 monogrammed cards, a paperclip bookmark, a set of 4 magnets and a notebook. I put everything in an 8x8 page protector and tied it up with some white ribbon.
I think the teachers will like them, at least I am hoping so!! I know if I was getting I would love it!
I then got a hold of my sister and asked if she had any candles on hand. So I am going to give some more nature smelling candles to the men teachers. I still have to make 2 sets for the other teachers but they are not done until the 24th, so I have some extra time.
I have such a terrible time giving handmade things though sometimes. I know they turn out really nice most of the time and I put a lot into them, but I don't want people thinking I am cheaping out or something. I guess really I am not obligated to give anything at all and it is just a bonus for them. Also on the other hand if I were buying something like this at a craft sale I would be paying good money for it... I guess it is just in how you look at things and I need to be more proud of giving my creations away instead of worrying...
As always, thanks for popping by and let me know what you think! :)

Desining D.I.V.A.S Challenge June 3
I posted my first challenge with my D.I.V.A.S. group over at split coast stampers and I love how my card turned. I made it to give my big sis for her birthday. The challenge was to use the colors purple and yellow and one other neutral. You had to use a flower of some kind and at least one other embellishment. I used mermaid Anya for the image and some Primas I got a while back. I also used the new SU! ribbon and some purple polka dot ribbon. I used stickles on her hair and some small purple jewel brads for the flower centers. I used my CB to emboss the background and sponged the piece under Anya with blue, green and yellow. So I was really happy how it turned out.
What do you think??
Thanks for stopping by and see you soon!

Twilight Tuesday sketch challenge May
This isn't the greatest picture but I had to get this submitted for a DT and I hope it is OK. My DD felt the need to be using my camera and my extra batteries and I had to hope the screen didn't turn black on me while I was snapping...
This is for May's Twilight Tuesday sketch challenge found here...
This is my depiction of Edward and Bella together forever using my kissie face stamping bella image. I used shimmerz on Edwards face and there is a small sun in the corner to show he is dazzling in the sun.
I used this to enter a DT challenge over at the Twilight Tuesday blog. I love Twilight and hope I have good luck, but will still enjoy their challenges regardless!!! Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to leave me your thoughts!
Monster Mash Bash!
I made this card last week and wanted to share. It was for the Stamping Bella twisted challenge to make a card using blue and yellow. I just got these adorable monsters in a recent Bella order and had not inked them yet. Soooo I got on it and created this cute card! I used the buttons as balloons and tried to adhere some twine for strings but that didn't work so I just hand drew some strings and finished it off with a blue ribbon around the middle. I just love these little monstahs! My DD who will be 13 in a couple of months has informed me already she wants this stamp on her birthday invites... :)
Thanks for popping in and have a great day! Back to work Monday for me, so I don't even get to be home stamping... boohoo! I have a busy evening but I am hoping to hit the stamp table later on for at least 1 new thing! I am looking forward to all 3 being done soccer and the last one done ball! I will have so much more free time for a bit before the fall! Take care!
