It's Time Again for Another OBG Blog Hop!!

Oh how I have been neglecting my beloved blog! I am so sorry! On a good note, though it is time again for our Oldies but Goodies blog hop!!! This is our monthly hop I do with my Design Divas blog group. The challenge is to create a project using some item you have had for over 6 months. You should have come here from Barbara's blog and the whole hop starts off at Mary's blog.

This project I have today is a card I made for my SIL. It was her Birthday this past week. I always like to make her a special card. I think the only new item is the stamp set from SU! I believe it is the breast cancer set. I used it for the flourishes on the top and bottom. The acetate I got when one of our old offices years ago moved and they were going to toss it. I snagged it thinking it would come in handy one day. The leaves are from a retired SU! set called Natural Beauty. The butterfly charm was something I picked up on clearance thinking it would come in handy sometime, and it worked perfectly! My SIL loved the card and told me she always saves my birthday cards I have made her. I love hearing that because it makes the little things we do worthwhile when someone acknowledges them!

So thanks so much for stopping by today! Your next stop is going to be Sharri's blog, where I am sure she will have a great project to showcase for you!! As always I would love to hear any feedback you have!

Angie, first let me apologize for messing up on the link to your blog. All is fixed now and I appreciate your patience. Now to your lovely card! The acetate is such a lovely touch and I love the sensation of the image floating. Great job!
