April Blog Hop Bombshell Stamps!

This month the challenge was Pretty in pink. I love pink and love making cards with it! I also began my SS challenges with my blogging group Design DIVAS (check out their blogs on my side bar!! They are all amazing!!) and the first one was to make an envelope card. I followed the provided instructions and came up with this card. I think it covers the pink requirement and showcases my Bombshell girl and also I can check off my first challenge for the SS exchange! :) The flap of the envelope part is held down with a velcro piece and the top piece actually tucks inside. You will have to forgive my bad photo. I have a camera MIA and had to scan. My scanner never seems to want to pick up my lightest copic pink either!

Christmas in April... Cards anyways!

I never made my quota on cards for March and I am a bit behind for April, but my goal is to catch up on those. I made 3 of these cards for my Apr cards. I followed a card from the front of one of my Cardmaker mags as a sketch guide. I was pretty happy with it.

Thanks for stopping by this Monday and as always I would love to know what you thinK!!

Thanks for all you do!

I am certainly no hockey coach, and so I wanted my DS to showe his appreciation to his coaches this year for his hockey team. We had the wind up on Sunday and he passed the coaches out cards. I just got an ice image off of the internet and printed it out as my background. I was pretty happy with the end result! You have to forgive the picture quality. My camera is MIA right now and I had to do my best to scan it...

Another Vintage Creation

I loved this image! I also used a smaller version on my DIVA challenge card for the beginning of April. I loved how it turned out and wanted to make another variation with a bigger image. This is the result! I love the vintage feel and the colors. I also used a rub on, which I have not done in quite a while.

Here is another card I made with some of the Magnolia images I received from Cabio. I just love this little girl! I think I will also make one that has a saying about kissing a lot of frogs before finding a prince or something! lol... I used stickles on her wings and colored her with copics. I am pretty happy with this card. I think it could use something but I didn't want to play and overdo it. Maybe I could have inked the edges of the image or something?? I am not sure.

Thanks for stopping in today! I am really making an effort not to lag this month in my blogging posts like I did last month. I would love to hear what you think!

See you soon!

I got a pad of DP from my Leprechaun - Kathy Curry - for the St. Patrick's Day RAK exchange last month and just re found it cleaning my stamping area. I loved the colors and was inspired right away to use it. I stamped out my newest Gorguss Girl stamp and got busy! I also used some stick on flowers. I colored the images with my new in color markers and I am just loving how this card turned out!

Bellarific Friday Challenge

I made this card for the bellarific Friday Challenge over at Stampingbella.com. Da Bella herself posts challenges every Friday and this week was a sketch challenge. I used an image I received through Wish RAK at splitcoast stampers. I had a ton of fun making this card, and I love the new DP I got from SU! that I used for the first time on it.

Thanks so much for stopping in and as always I would love to know what you think!
