Hi all! It has been sooo long since I posted! I am getting settled in my new hiome but many of my supplies are still packed away.
Anyways, you know the rules... create a card, scrapbook page, or other paper crafting item utilizing at least one item from your supplies that you have not used for 6 months or more.
If you got here from Chin's blog you are on the right track! You can start at the beginning here.
This card I made with one of my oldest Gorjuss Girls stamps. I just love them! The paper is from a secret sister swap I did several years ago. All in all I quite love this card. I think it is a great all occasion and the colors set if off nicely.
Thanks for coming by and as always I would love your feedback! You can continue hopping along to Cindy's blog and enjoy more of the OBG hoppers creations!
Take care and I promise I will see you soon!

Sunday, July 10, 2011
Well, this is the last of the cards I had made at my sister's house. I wanted to play around with black and white. I always love how these turn out. They just seem to have an air of sophistication to them. She also has this set which I love. I love that she has the same tastes as I do in stamps a lot of the time as that way I can just use some of hers too... :)
Thanks for dropping in and have a great day! As always I would love to know what you think!

Getting back to it! :)
I just can't believe how fast time goes! Luckily I am done with all the kids activities for the summer and can get in a bit more me time! This card is one I made at my sisters house last month. I love going to someone elses and creating with their goodies! It forces me to get out of my comfort zone and create something completely different!
This card I used some great paper she had and paired it with some raspberry paper. I added the scalloped satin ribbon and a few funky polka dot fabric brads. I don't have either of these stamp sets so having the chance to play was so fun!
Thanks so much for coming by! I know I have been away an awful lot, but I am working on getting back into my blogging mode! Take care!

It's Time Again for Another OBG Blog Hop!!
Oh how I have been neglecting my beloved blog! I am so sorry! On a good note, though it is time again for our Oldies but Goodies blog hop!!! This is our monthly hop I do with my Design Divas blog group. The challenge is to create a project using some item you have had for over 6 months. You should have come here from Barbara's blog and the whole hop starts off at Mary's blog.
This project I have today is a card I made for my SIL. It was her Birthday this past week. I always like to make her a special card. I think the only new item is the stamp set from SU! I believe it is the breast cancer set. I used it for the flourishes on the top and bottom. The acetate I got when one of our old offices years ago moved and they were going to toss it. I snagged it thinking it would come in handy one day. The leaves are from a retired SU! set called Natural Beauty. The butterfly charm was something I picked up on clearance thinking it would come in handy sometime, and it worked perfectly! My SIL loved the card and told me she always saves my birthday cards I have made her. I love hearing that because it makes the little things we do worthwhile when someone acknowledges them!
So thanks so much for stopping by today! Your next stop is going to be Sharri's blog, where I am sure she will have a great project to showcase for you!! As always I would love to hear any feedback you have!

OBG Divas Blog Hop!
Hi all! It's time once again for the DIVA's monthly Oldies but Goodies blog hop! The idea is to use items from your supplies that you have had for at least six months. If you came here from Karen's blog you are on the right track!
I am using a pad of DP I found in my stash and a stamp set I got eons ago from Michaels I believe. The pearls are from Stampin Up! as well as the organza ribbon. I used the scallop punch for the edge. I have a couple of co-workers expecting girls this year and I am getting a jump start on cards for the baby boom coming! :)
Now you get to head off to see what Linda has for you on her blog.
Thanks so much for popping by and as always I would love to know what you think! Take care and see you soon!

I am sorry for not having any updates lately then sporadic ones when I do. I have been busy with the kids activities and a bunch of personal stuff going on with me right now, but I promise not to neglect my beloved blog forever! This past weekend I went to my sister's house for a bit and played in her craft room. I love going where you have completely different things to use! I ended up making 3 cards and I am going to put them into 3 posts this week...
The first one I picked some DP I liked and played with the eboss and cut folder from SU to make some embossed butterfly cutouts to put on the front. I also used some white rub ons. I made it for my Mom for Mother's Day. I can't wait to give it to her!
Thanks so much for popping in. Take care and see you soon!

OBG Diva's Blog Hop
Hi all! Welcome to the monthly OBG hop! If you came from Vickis blog (www.bountifulblessings2u.blogspot.com) you are on the right track! Once you move on you will head off to Melissa at her blog (http://www.inkclinations.blogspot.com/).
The rules were simple:
Use anything on your card that is at least 6 months old. I used a retired SU set watercolor minis. I just love this set! I also used some older primas I had. I used the faux stitching technique on it also.
Thanks so much for coming by today! I love feedback so please take time to leave some. I will see you all soon!

Second Scrap page
This is the second 6x6 page I have for our scrap club. I do thinkit is a touch plain and will likely add some kind of element to it before our actual club.
Thanks for taking the time to come by my lil place today! I would love to know what you think and if you have an element idea please let me know! :)

Scrap club page
This is a 6x6 layout page I am using for my next scrap club. It was obviously inspired byt the card we did for club last month. I just love this set! I am glad to see it in the summer mini and hope it carries over to the next catty.
Thanks so much for coming by today!! I would love to know what you think!

Faux tile
Hi! Hope today finds you having a great day! Thanks so much for coming by. Today my card is using a variation of the tutorial over at splitcoast stampers. The idea is for a tile look on the base. I got these flowers from Michaels the other day and was inspired! I would love to read any feedback you have for me, thanks for popping in!

Another Card Club project
I again used the card from stamping school. It featured the polished stone technique and my club was thrilled to learn something new! It was so easy, too. I love the simplicity of this and how the little bit of shimmer paint adds a sheen.
Thanks for coming by. I am trying to do a bit more regular posts for my blog. I always want to outdo my number from last year. I think it was about 104... I would also love any feedback you have for me! Thanks again and see you soon!

Vintage Hockey Thanks
Well hockey season is over and Carter already had his wind up. Kalan's is this weekend. I made just a simple thanks for the coaches and I used another vintage image of a children's pick up game on the pond with an adorable spectator... :)
Thanks for coming by and as always I would love any feedback! See you all soon!

Getting ready for Easter
I just loved this image I found while I searched for some vintage items. I decided to use them for my Easter cards this year. I am really happy with how they turned out.
Thanks for popping by. I am sorry for the sporadic posting, I have so much going on right now I can't begin to say. I am hoping to get a post up at least once a week though. Sorry DIVAS!

Another SS project
This is the third project I have done for our Spring SS swap. I almost have my package all assembled tp send. I do still want to pick up a couple treats also. I will finish posting the projects this weekend. This challenge was to pake a project using a die or paper piecing. I did use dome punches on the front and some pre die cut border edge. The inside is decorated with a top note die cut. I was actually really pleased with how this card turned out. I love flopsy and never seem to use him near enough!
Thanks so much for popping over. I would love any feedback you have for me! See you soon!

Welcome Baby
This is a card I made for VSN over at Splitcoast stampers. It was a couple weekends ago and my DD and I did 2 challenges on the Friday night. The challenge was to use a bird on your card. I pulled out a set I had gotten awhile back and used the sweet stork on the postage tag. I just love the tiny baby pastel button brads too and use them when I can. I definitely think it adds to it. We have a couple of babies due at work this year so having the card will come in handy for sure!
Thanks for popping in. I have been working on getting a new to me vehicle the past few weeks. I think I have decided on a Ford Escape 2007. Anyone who has one I would love feedback...
Take care!

Another SS Project
Well this project challenge was just to make a thank you card using spring colors. I love fun spring colors and the colors on this DP jumped out at me. I also added a stamping bella image I received through wish RAK over at Splitcoast Stampers a while back. I still am not convinced that spring will EVER arrive here, but I remain hopeful at least. I can't wait until I can wake up to a morning warmer than -20 or colder. It has been the routine the past few weeks. (sighs...)
Anyways, I love how the layered flowers added a nice touch to this card. I managed to find a focal one that had all the colors to match the DP. My thank you sentiment is on the inside.
Thanks for coming by! I am going to plan on some more stamping this weekend and maybe wading through some of my supplies to see if I have any to downsize. Take care and see you soon!

Where does the time go?
Wow! I feel like I just posted and then life gets busy and before I know it I have lost a week or even 2! What is going on? Well, besides the fact that we are STILL waiting to get out of a deep freeze here (-28 with the wind chill and coldest start to March in 90 years.... ugh!!) I have been busy taking care of several personal things. BUT I have been working on some stuff and I am going to share with you now! This is a card I made for the vintage card challenge for my SS group. I kinda feel like I cheated a bit because the image was printed, but I think it is pretty cute. I dressed it up with some DP and flowers and added the St paddys day greeting. You can't tell but I sprayed the whole thing with glimmer mist in gold and the overall effect is pretty.
Thanks so much for coming by! I am glad you took the time to visit and would love to know any feedback you have for me! Take care!

Valentine Card...
This is the Valentine card I made. I searched for vintage images and fell in love with this one! I tried uploading it last week but it was pretty blurry and I didn't get a chance to take the picture again until now.
Just a quick post. Thanks so much for coming by and as always I would love to know what you think!

Its the weekend!
Well, it was a long week here for me. I have 2 sick sons again. I am getting so tired of sickness dragging on and on. I think this is the worst we have had in a long time...
This does keep me home a bit longer though, and thus I get a little extra time to create too... :)
This card is one I amusing for our next card club. I think it is so cute! I completely cased it from stamping school. I do think my club will love it too though.
Thanks so much for coming by today! I will have a few more posts this week. Make sure you stop by again! And I always love feedback so please feel free to leave some...

February Design DIVAS Oldies but Goodies Blog Hop!!
I was stressing out tonight because I was trying to post for the blog hop and my internet was acting up! Luckily I am on track and here with my creation. I used my very old set Puppy Love for my card today for our Design DIVA's Oldies but Goodies blog hop. It happens every third Wednesday of the month. If you came to me via Catherine's blog then you are on the right track!
I made my card in blues. I added 2 med sized gem brads in a matching blue and colored my little guy with copics. I still am quite bad with them, but I am getting better for sure... That is a good sign! I also fancied up the inside just a touch with some of the matching designer paper and also by rounding a couple of corners.
If you happened upon me at random you should head back to Brenda's blog and start at the beginning... Here is a list of all the hop participants to keep you on track! :)

Happy Valentine's Day!
I am a bit of a skeptic on this. I am not in a relationship that I care to wish anyone other than my kids Happy Valentine's and that kind of defeats the purpose...lol...
This is one of the layouts we made for my scrap club on Friday. All of it uses Stampin Up! products. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I am going to save up all the pages we do in club and put together a little album.
Thanks so much for coming by today! I am posting a bit late but will have another project tomorrow and Wednesday is the Design DIVAS oldies but goodies blog hop, so make sure you pop over!
As always, I would love to know what you think!

Moccasin Class!
OK, so I know it isn't paper craft but I took a moccasin class the past 2 weeks. This is the first one. I am going to finish the second one this weekend and also have a pair on the go for my ds. This is the leather and fur Madi picked out for her pair. I am using the same leather plus some grey fur and dark beads for my sonshine. I think Madi is pretty excited. Luckily she will get a new pair as her feet get bigger and I will be better at making them too. I am also hoping to get lessons on mukluks, and I think they should go OK as the whole base is the first step in the process...
Thanks so much for coming by. I will have more paper crafts for you this weekend. Scrap club tomorrow night so I will post our projects, plus some Valentines for the kids! Even though it is something different I would still love to know what you think!
