May DIVAS Challenge

Hi! Thanks so much for coming by! Today I am showing my card I created for my blogging sisters group Designing DIVAS. Dru posted the challenge and it was to create a masculine card. Since Father's Day is fast approaching I wanted to make sure I was ready. I came up with this card and used a flashy classic car for the main image. I also used sage shadow ribbon and some SU! coordinating design paper. Just a bit of a simple card. but I love the green and gray and I think my Dad will love it.

Happy Hump Day!! And another Bombshell Blog Hop!!

Welcome to another Wednesday! This is a special Wednesday though because it is the Bombshell Stamps monthly blog hop!! The theme this month is "Look Ma I Did It!"
Here are the details:

Call it a Mother's Day theme....or Just fun.
This month, we want to see what you are made of....and what you can make.

You can make any sort of project, a card, a layout, an altered object...whatever...you just need to make a handmade embellishment. It can be a flower, button, etc... You just have to make it.

Pair it with a great Bombshell stamp and get ready for the bloghop.

So my card it a bright and cheerful one of red and white - 2 of my favorite colors to use on cards together! I made the little paper flowers on the bottom of the card and added some red satin ribbon and a copic colored Bombshell to the mix! I also finished it with some mulberry paper whhich I frayed under the image. You can follow along the hop from the links below. Your first stop should be Kas and you can go from there!

Design Divas Challenge #3

OK, this was my attempt at a hinged card. I am happy with it, but I think I can tweak it before I decide which one to send off to my SS. I followed the directions on splitcoast stampers to make it and it was a bit of a challenge, but all the instructions for things I have found so far are so easy to follow! I just love trying new things with my stamping!! I did find my camera but I need to get some new batteries tomorrow for it.

Doodle for Google

Keeping Up with the DIVAS! :)

This is the project I made for my secret sister swap in my DIVAS blogger group. There is a challenge posted weekly for 6 weeks, then we send our projects off to our DIVA SS. This project challenge was to create a card using paper piecing. I have not stamped in a bit and was a little bewildered as to what to create. All in all I thought it turned out well. I do love my little Gorguss Girl stamps!!

I have not posted in forever! I had a few projects done and didn't get a chance to post them as I took the kids away last week for my cousin's wedding. We were gone from Thursday till Sunday and I had been so busy with activities I was just too pooped to post. Sorry!!! Anyways, this is an ATC I made for a technique swap over at the Bombshell Stamps forums. I have been doing a bit over there as I love the stamps. I only have 2 sets but I am hoping to get a new set or 2 next month. We will see what happens - with 5 kids usually something in life comes up... sigh.... Oh well.

Happy Birthday Bella Sistahs!!

I made a variation of this card for the 3 girls on my Bella Birthday list! I sometimes get behind on sending cards to these girls but I am ahead of myself for May. The inside is a white piece with Birthday Wishes stamped in cocoa in the corner. I had not used a DP for the main card base and it was a bit of a challenge but it worked out OK in the end. Still scanning my cards at this point, but I really need to find my camera as my pics are a bit disappointing!
